You will learn how to set up in PRO differents partnerships to sell more through various sales channels.
Getting started
Welcome to the Partnerships chapter of the Users and Sales Channels Module of Fourvenues Academy. Let’s get started!
Partnerships allow you to sell through different external channels beyond your organization. For this, promoters or external teams must request to partner with your organization to start generating sales at the previously configured and currently active events.
The team you created, “University Thursdays,” should send a partnership request from Settings > Hosts by searching for the organization they want to partner with, in this case, Maze.
Types of Partnerships:
Internal Partnership:
Allows you to view sales reports by user.
External Partnership:
Only shows the number of sales generated by the partnering team and the team name as the reference.
Once the request is sent, as a user with administrator or sales channel management role in the host organization, accept it from Settings > Users.
Where Can I See Partnerships?
View all partnerships from this section. Internal partnerships are differentiated from internal groups by a symbol. This list shows the users who are part of the team. To view external partnerships, go to the three dots > “Partnerships.
Once sales start from official and partner links, the amount collected will be reflected in the host event’s wallet, in this case, Maze.
- When the partnership is internal, the organization can view the sales made by each team member from the sales and reports list.
In the case of external partnerships, the reference is the name of the team or organization.
How Do I Disable Partnerships?
From each event’s configuration area > “Sales Channels,” you will find the list of partnerships, both internal and external, which you can disable if necessary.
By default, partnerships enable the sale of all events created by the host organization.
