Process refunds directly from the box office
In this chapter, youβll see how to refund a ticket that was sold physically through Box Office using the Access app.
Itβs a simple process, but it requires a setting to be activated beforehand in Fourvenues PRO.
Enable the refund option
Before you can process refunds, make sure the following option is activated:
- Log in to Fourvenues PRO.
- Go to General settings.
- Enable the option Refunds from Access.
This will allow refunds to be processed directly from the box-office device.
Refund the ticket from the Access app
- Tap the three dots (options menu).
- Go to Ticket list.
- The most recent sale will appear at the top.
- Tap the ticket you want to refund.
- Tap the three dots β Refund.
- Confirm the refund.
If the ticket was paid by card, the system will automatically process the refund and generate a refund receipt.
When does the customer receive the money?
The amount will be refunded directly to the customerβs card.
The process may take a few days depending on the bank involved.
Thanks to this feature, you can offer an immediate solution in case of mistakes or incidents at the door β no complications.
