Configure Your Reservation Rates in Fourvenues
Welcome to the first chapter of the Reservations Module in Fourvenues Academy.
In this video, you’ll learn everything related to reservation rates in Fourvenues: how to
configure them and what additional settings you can apply.
Access the Rate Settings
To get started, go to:
Settings > Zones
From here, you can configure reservations globally, so the zones and rates you create can be applied across all events.
In this chapter, we’ll focus on rates, which have a key characteristic:
They are shared across zones, and you can create as many as you need.
Create a New Rate Step by Step
Click New Rate and fill in the following fields:
- Name: for example, Standard VIP
- Internal description: not visible to the customer
- Price: €250
- Capacity: up to 5 people
- Additional guests: up to 2 extra for €50 each
Important:
The space assigned to this rate must support the maximum capacity (in this case, 7 people).
- Minimum spend: included
- Conditions: for example, “non-refundable”
Configure Payments and Deposits
Define how much the customer pays online:
- It can be a percentage or a fixed amount
- In this case: 80% of the total
You can also:
- Configure management fees
- Enable full online payment (recommended to reduce no-shows)
- Allow cash payments
- Let promoters customize the deposit
Save your changes to continue.
Define Customer Data
In the Personal Data section, you can choose what information to collect during the purchase.
- The more data you collect, the richer your database
- But the longer the purchase process becomes
To balance this, you can define fields as:
- Required
- Optional
Save your changes when finished.
Manage and Organize Your Rates
Once your rates are created, you can:
- Filter them based on whether they are assigned to a zone
- Identify rates without descriptions
- Reorder them using drag and drop
- Delete those that are not in use
Your rates are now ready, although they are not yet assigned to any zone.
