Create and Configure Zones in Fourvenues
Welcome to the Zones chapter of the Reservations Module in Fourvenues Academy.
In this video, you’ll learn how to create and configure zones and how to assign rates to properly structure your reservation system.
Access the Zone Settings
Go to:
Settings > Zones
Configuring zones from here will allow you to work more efficiently when creating and managing events.
Before getting started, upload your venue layout and enable it using the Show option.
This layout will be visible to your customers on the microsite, your sales page.
Create a New Zone
To create your first zone:
- Assign a name (for example, DJ Booth)
- Upload a specific layout using the corresponding button
Important:
Make sure the image dimensions are appropriate for proper display.
Assign Rates to the Zone
Go to the Rates tab and select the ones that will apply to this zone.
From this section, you can:
- Create new rates
- Edit existing rates
Keep in mind:
Rates are global. Any changes will automatically apply to all zones where they are assigned.
Add and Configure Spaces
Once the layout is uploaded and rates are assigned, create spaces from the corresponding menu.
You can generate them in bulk by defining:
- Number of spaces
- Type and shape
- Maximum capacity per space
Select the rate you want to assign and add the spaces.
Then, position them on the layout according to your zone’s distribution.
If needed, you can edit them at any time from the menu.
Create Space Combinations
For larger group reservations, you can combine spaces:
- Click New Combination
- Select the spaces you want to merge
- Apply the corresponding rates
- Create the combination
Save your changes to complete the configuration.
