Learn how to configure your reservation zone settings: permissions, reservation behavior, and customer-facing display.

Customize Your Zone Settings in Fourvenues

Welcome to the Zone Settings chapter of the Reservations Module in Fourvenues Academy.
In this video, you’ll learn how to configure in detail how your zones behave and adapt their setup to your business needs.

Access the Zone Settings

Go to:
Settings > Zones

Β 

Select the zone you configured in the previous chapter and open the Settings tab.

From here, you can:

  • Modify the zone name
  • Add an internal description (not visible to the customer)

Configure Reservation Permissions

In the first section, you can define who can create reservations:

  • Customers through sales links
  • Professional users from Fourvenues PRO
  • Professional collaborators (users from external teams or organizations with an active collaboration)

If no option is selected, only users with admin, management, or reservation reception permissions will be able to manage reservations.

In the next section, you can define who can select spaces within the zone.

Manage Reservation Behavior

By default:

  • Reservations with a deposit are automatically accepted
  • Reservations without payment remain pending review

Important:
Pending reservations do not block space until they are accepted, which means you may receive more requests than actual availability.

If needed, you can enable automatic acceptance for reservations without upfront payment.
Otherwise, they must be manually approved by administrators or users with management permissions.

Configure Zone Display

From this section, you can:

  • Define when a zone is marked as full (default: β€œnever”)
  • Choose how it is displayed to customers:
    • Zone layout
    • Spaces
    • Both

This determines how users will see the zone during the reservation process.

Add a Promotional Image

You can add a promotional image for your sales links.

Keep in mind:
If the layout and spaces display is enabled, it will take priority and the promotional image will not be shown.

Save your changes to continue.

Duplicate, Reorder, or Delete Zones

From the settings, you can:

  • Duplicate a zone to reuse its structure
  • Reorder zones using drag and drop
  • Delete a zone by accessing it and scrolling down to the delete option

That’s it. Your zone settings are now fully configured.
