Getting Started

Welcome to the chapter on advanced configuration of the guest list module in Fourvenues Academy. In this chapter, you will learn to set limits for a type of list. Let’s get started!

Create Limits for Guest Lists

To begin, we’ll access the events calendar to reach the type of list you want to restrict.

As you can see, this type of list is currently public, meaning there are no user limits or maximum numbers of people who can sign up.

If you want to limit the sale to specific channels, you must indicate “limited” and set the groups of special users in the “Limits” section. If you do not select users, this type of list will not be visible for any sales channel.

Types of Limits for Guest Lists

Limits by Rate

Once you access the limits section, you will find maximums by rate. In this field, you define the maximum number of people who can sign up in total for this type of list, regardless of the sales channel (PRO or microsite).

Limit by Sales Link

From the maximum per sales link, you set the total number of people who can sign up specifically through the organization’s official link.

Limits for External Groups and Teams

Let’s start with common limits for an external group or team. To do this, access the dropdown where you find all the external groups and teams collaborating with the organization.

You can set the same limit for all groups from this field by pressing “Apply to All,” or you can establish a specific limit for each group or team. Remember, this limit is for each member of the group or team, as indicated here.

Special User Limits

To add a limit to a special user, you need to click in the lower section, use the search bar to locate the user, and set a maximum number of people they can sign up.

The user who introduces a sale, either internally or through their link, will be recorded as the reference for it.

You can check the references of the lists from the sales list, accessing the list KPI from the event.
