Why is Tracking Important in Paid Media?

Performance measurement, also known as “tracking,”. Tracking is key to the success of any Paid Media strategy. It helps you measure user behavior, campaign performance, and the return on investment by identifying where your ticket sales come from.

With Fourvenues PRO, you can track campaign performance across paid digital channels to help optimize your ad spend on each one.

How to Set Up Tracking in Fourvenues PRO

Here’s how to implement it in Fourvenues:

Go to Fourvenues PRO > Settings > Public Sales Settings > Website Configuration.

You’ll see several modules, focus on Tracking. In this section, you’ll need to paste the different tracking IDs provided by Meta (Facebook) and Google platforms.

Tools to Track and Optimize Your Campaigns

Google Tag Manager (GTM)

GTM is a tool that lets you install and manage tags, which are snippets of code that tell tools like Google Analytics 4 (GA4) what data to collect and when. GTM doesn’t analyze or store data, it simply manages its delivery.

Google Analytics 4 (GA4)

GA4 is a data analytics platform that collects, stores, and analyzes user behavior on your website or app. While GTM handles the deployment of tags, GA4 processes and transforms the data into valuable insights.

Meta Pixel

The Meta Pixel is a tracking code for Meta Ads that collects data to help measure ad effectiveness, optimize campaigns, and create custom audiences based on user behavior.

Meta CAPI (Conversions API)

Meta CAPI is a complementary tool to the Pixel, improving data accuracy and helping reduce advertising costs. It sends conversion data directly from your server to Meta’s systems.
