Getting Started
Welcome to the first chapter of the guest list module in Fourvenues Academy. In this chapter, you will learn what guest lists are. Let’s get started!
What is a guest list service?
The Guest List service is a feature that allows you to note down the names of clients or guests to facilitate their access to your events. You can also enable them in your organization’s sales links, allowing clients to sign up for them themselves.
Types of Guest Lists:
- Free Guest list
- Pay at the door Guest Lists
- Valid for one or more people as indicated in their setup
Real-Time Guest List
You can check the registered lists in real-time and see an attendance forecast based on the last event held on the same day of the week. You can also set different prices depending on the time of access to the event.
Customization of Guest Lists
You can set different prices based on the time of access to the event. You can also define a maximum number of people, which groups, teams, or special users can sign up for a type of list, and how many each can bring. Clients or guests who have entered or indicated their email will receive a PDF with the list conditions and a QR code that is scanned at the entrance to reflect their attendance.
Customized Reports on Guest Lists
At the end of the session, you will have a report with the total number of registered clients and their references.
Guest List Configuration
To authorize a user to configure, consult, or manage different types of lists, an administrator must allow it from Settings > Permissions > Assign Permissions > Select the user in question.
The event management permission allows you to configure list types and create, hide, or cancel events. You will also be able to configure other services, tickets, passes, and reservations.
Guest List Management Permission
The guest list management permission allows you to generate, modify, or delete other users sales and check the attendance forecasts for the lists.
You can also assign permissions for a specific event from the event settings > Permissions. Now you know about guest lists. If you want to continue maximizing the use of Fourvenues Pro, keep going with the next episode. Let’s go!
