Welcome to the attendee data and information chapter of the Fourvenues Academy Ticketing Module. In this chapter you will learn how to collect data from your attendees, how to add questions in the checkout process and where to view this information. Let’s get started!

Configure the data to collect

First, from the event list, go to the event settings, then go to the tickets section and select a ticket type. From here, go to the attendee section, where you can select what data you want to collect from your customers and whether or not you want them to be required on the purchase form. It is also possible to indicate that only the buyer has to fill in the data. All the data collected will go into your CRM so that you can analyse it later and send targeted mailing campaigns.

Questions in the purchasing process

On the other hand, it is possible to set up additional questions that customers will fill in during the purchase process. For example, create a question related to their musical tastes. Click on add question, fill in “What genre of music do you like the most?”, and select the type of answer you want: Predefined options or open answer, and define whether you want it to be compulsory or not. As an example, mark it as compulsory with predefined options and add the options: house, techno, electronic, reggaeton and others. Another option is to create questions with free text answers, such as: Which artist would you like to see? Once you have configured the questions, save so that the changes will take effect on the type of ticket.

Consult customer data

To consult the details of a client, go back to the main screen of an event, access the list of tickets, select a ticket and access the client section.

If you want to see the overall response count, go back to the main screen of an event and select Reports and go to Questions. Here you will see a summary of all tickets grouped by response.
