Welcome to the renaming chapter of the Fourvenues Academy Ticket Module. In this chapter you will learn how to activate and configure name changes in our tickets. Let’s get started!

Configuration

From the event list screen, go to the configuration of an event, then to the ticket section and select the type of ticket. From the ticket type configuration, go to the options section and activate the option to allow name changes. It indicates that this option is activated by default when creating a ticket type.

Fourvenues allows you to set a fixed cost for changing the name of a ticket or for the customer to pay the difference in price between the first purchase and the current price of the ticket. This service will have a fixed cost for the organisation.

Name change

Your customer can make use of this service from the link www.fourvenues.com/cambio. Indicating the code of the ticket and the associated email.

After a ticket has been renamed, the QR code of the original ticket will be disabled and not recognised by the access applications and a new QR code is generated and sent to the new ticket-holder.

You will be able to view the total number of name changes made from the financial report on the main screen of an event.
