Complements

To configure the add-ons associated with a ticket type, go to the event configuration, then to the tickets section and click on a ticket type. From the first section of the configuration of a ticket type, select the add add-on button, indicate the name of the add-on and its price. You can configure as many add-ons as you want within the same ticket type.

Once configured, click on “save” and, from now on, the add-ons will be shown in the purchase process. Remember that the handling fee will be calculated on the sum of the ticket price and the selected add-ons.

Scanning add ons

In order to check-in the add-ons associated with the tickets, you must use the Fourvenues Access application. From Access, select your business, access the event and proceed to scan the ticket. With a first scan, the ticket is marked as checked-in. With the second scan, we can mark which add-ons we have handed over.

It is also possible to mark add-ons as handed over by searching the ticket by name.

Discount codes

Next, learn how to configure and associate a discount code to one or more types of tickets. Go to the event settings, select discount codes, and click on new. Enter the name of the code, a description and the amount to be discounted, in fixed or percentage format.

You can then optionally set certain parameters or conditions under which the discount can be applied:

  • The minimum amount indicates from which price a discount can be applied, for example, we will say that it only applies to purchases over 15 €.
  • You can also set the minimum and maximum number of tickets that can be purchased by applying this discount code, for example, indicating that it will only be valid for a minimum of 2 tickets and no maximum specified.
  • Finally, you can indicate whether the code can be redeemed on a maximum number of sales or a maximum number of transactions.

Activate codes in tariffs

Click on the save button. Again, open the configured discount code to indicate the tariffs on which you want to apply the code. After saving the configuration, the discount code will be applicable from the purchase process.

It is also possible to create discount code templates at organisation level, from General Settings, access discount codes, and import and activate them at the different events.

To see how many customers have used the discount code, go back to the list of events and click on the list of tickets for the event you want to analyse. From here, select the 3 dots, then click on custom and add discount. This will bring up a column showing who, how many and what discount they have used.
